The Hebron K-6 Education Foundation knows that without the support from its Volunteers that many of its initiatives would be unobtainable nor would the Foundation be able to persist. This is why Volunteers are an invaluable part of our organization. We welcome those who want to play a big role by becoming a member and those who are just interested in a brief role such as assisting with fundraising events. There is something to do for everybody at the Foundation. Won’t you come on board and be a part of the Hebron Education Foundation? It really does take a village!
The Foundation always welcomes new members to its organization. It knows that in order to continue to grow and remain thriving as a nonprofit it needs to enlist the talents of those that can bring a passion and dedication to its cause. Obligations of this role include, but are not limited to, attendance at monthly meetings, involvement in annual grant process, volunteering with fundraising events and representing the organization at various Hebron Public Schools and Town events. The term is a minimum of one year.
Annual Autumn Auction Committee
This event is hosted on Friday, October 13, 2017 starting at 7:00 p.m. and is in need of volunteers for set up.
Holiday Tea Party Featuring American Girl Committee
This event is hosted on Sunday, November 26, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and is in need of volunteers for set up, break down, and serving
Communications / Marketing
Responsible for content development; writes, edits and shepherds material through the review/approval process. Executes traditional marketing tactics such as email, as well as digital marketing, such as social and web media. Responsibilities also include the ongoing maintenance/refresh of content. Able to make recommendations based on the Foundation’s objectives.
Annual Appeal Phone Bank Chairperson
This position’s responsibility is to create a team of enthusiastic members who have the confidence, drive and ingenuity to solicit individuals for donations for the Foundation. This is a phone bank initiative where you will create phone trees and scripts and organize volunteers to assist with the event.
This individual would be responsible for identifying and submitting grant applications on behalf of the Hebron Education Foundation. Consultant should come from a business/marketing/education background and should possess strong writing/grammar abilities. This is a compensated position.
