Founded in 2010, the Hebron K-6 Education Foundation is a volunteer based, non-profit organization created to promote the excellence of the Hebron K-6 Public Schools District. HEF raises alternative funding in order to provide innovative, challenging and creative educational resources for the District.
Hebron is proud to have had its intermediate elementary school, Hebron Elementary School, be recognized as a U. S. Department of Education’s National Blue Ribbon School in 2010. This prestigious award is given to schools (private or public) for their overall academic excellence or their progress in closing achievement gaps among student subgroups.
HEF has been able to provide to the Hebron Public Schools many resources such as a playscape, SMARTBoards, web based educational tools, musical instruments, educational programs and so much more and all because of generous donors from inside and outside our community.
The mission of the Hebron K-6 Education Foundation is to the enrichment the Hebron K-6 Public Schools District, as well as to proactively engage the community in order to support and create awareness of current educational needs.
